Name of upcoming conference

If you think of Hana in Hawaii, the first thing that pops into your mind is the Road to Hana, right? After all, it’s one of the state’s world-famous attractions! So famous that people worldwide fly to the island just to get the Road to Hana experience. A thrilling adventure that anyone should experience at least once.

At the end of this road is the peaceful town of Hana. It’s the perfect endpoint after-hours of driving where you can just then relax and take in the whole scenic village. While many say you go down the Hana Highway for the experience, we think Hana is worth visiting. So if you visit Hana, Hawaii, we got a list of notable spots you can check out.

Wai’anapanapa State Park

The unique thing about the Wai’anapanapa State Park? Its famous black sand beaches! All 122 acres of coastline are covered with black volcanic sand. There are also many things you can do in this Hana State Park. You can explore the black sand beaches or marvel at the lava formations. There’s even a blowhole! There are also walking trails, hidden-away swimming pools, and sea caves you can explore.

Hana Cultural Center & Museum

Hana, like many places in Hawaii, has a unique culture and history. The town is home to a traditional Hawaiian village, an old, historic courthouse still in use, and a museum. The Hana Cultural Center Museum is where to go when you visit Hana, Hawaii, to learn more about the town and its history. The museum houses hundreds of artifacts, books, and photos of Hana.

Hana Bay

Maybe you want to go snorkeling? Then, Hana Bay is where you should go. It also has a large black sand beach and is an excellent choice for beginners to snorkeling and those who want to stay in shallow waters. The place also serves as a town center and a park. You’ll see and picnic areas around, as well as a pier where you can see the entire Hana town from.

Fagan’s Cross

Located on a hill overlooking Hana, Fagan’s Cross stands as one of the town’s landmarks. It’s a large cross made out of lava rock and was erected in memory of Paul Iriving Fagan, Sr. He was a highly regarded cattle rancher and an important figure. He helped Hana become a tourist destination. Plus, it’s an excellent place for a hiking adventure. From atop the hill, you can see a stunning view of the coastline.

Pools of ‘Ohe’o

This unique spot could easily be considered a Natural Wonder of the World! The Pools of ‘Ohe’o, also known as the Seven Sacred Pools, are seven freshwater pools that flow from the mountain down to the ocean. Though, the name is not entirely accurate as dozens of pools and waterfalls flow through the ‘Ohe’o Gulch. So when it’s time for you to visit Hana, Hawaii, make sure to include this spot in your itinerary.
