Road to Hana – Circle TourUpdated: December 17, 2020
When it comes to visiting Maui, the Road to Hana should be on your bucket list. We at Hoaloha Jeep Adventures offer you various ways to explore the Road to Hana.
If you have limited time, we suggest that you take our Halfway to Hana tour. You can look at our Road to Hana tour for the standard tour, but just to let you know, nothing is standard about our trips. We also offer a Reverse Hana Road trip, which is one of our most favorite trips. If you want more information about any of these trips you can look at our tour pages.
In this article, we are, however, looking at one of our longer trips, the Circle Hana Road.
Circle Road To Hana Tour
Our Circle Hana Tour is roughly 10 to 12 hours long. We start our tour along the Famous Northern Route of the Hana Highway. From there, we continue past the town of Hana to travel along the less explored Southern Coast. As you should have figured out by now, we then finish the circle right where we started.
Famous Northern Route
The Northern Route on the Road to Hana is definitely famous, and rightly so. With Pa’ia Town, Ho’okipa Beach Park, Garden of Eden, Keanae Peninsula, and Wailua Valley Overlook, to name a few stops on this route, you are definitely in for a treat.
Additional to the above-mentioned stops, you shouldn’t forget about the picturesque waterfalls on this route; Upper Waikani Falls, Pua’a Ka’a Waterfalls Park, Makapipi Falls, and Hanawi Falls are a must-see.
With a few stops left before we take a breather at the town of Hana, we will stop to have a look at the black sand at Wai’anapanapa State Park, and we will explore the Hana Lava Tube.
At Hana Town, we will take a quick rest to resupply, relax, or perhaps go for some lunch at Paniolo Lounge. It all depends on how you would like to plan your perfect tour.
Less-Explored Southern Coast
After Hana Town, we venture out on the less-explored Southern Coast to complete our Circle Hana Tour. With Koki Beach, Palapala Ho’omau Church, Laulima Farm, and Wailua Falls on our list of things to do. It might seem as if we are only getting started now.
After Wailua Falls, we turn back for our home stretch all the way back to Pa’ia Town. Don’t fret was do have a few last stops such as Huialoha Church and Nu’u Bay left on our list. We will most certainly stop to look down on Molokini, Kahoolawe, and Lanai from a 2,500+ ft. elevation.
What a perfect way to conclude an amazing tour? This scenic drive with beautiful coastlines and jungle landscapes is an adventure you should put on your bucket list. To make it even more fun at Hoaloha Jeep Adventure, you will do your tour in a Jeep, with the wind blowing in your hair. Contact us today if you want to find out more about your Road to Hana Tours.
