When visiting Maui for one of our Hoaloha Jeep Adventures, it helps to know what to expect. In this Maui Tour Guide, we look at questions that previous visitors found useful.

In this guide, we look at how many people you can fit in a Jeep tour, if the tour is private, the duration of tours, what you should bring on the tour, and so much more. If you have a question, then we can provide an answer to that question.

How Many People Can Fit In A Jeep For A Tour?

Our Jeeps can seat between three and four people. However, we have several Jeeps available that can ride together if you want to tour in a bigger group.

Are Your Jeep Tours Private?

The previous answer should have made it clear that yes, we offer completely private tours. You don’t have to climb into a bus full of other tourists, you climb into one of our amazing Jeeps with no more than four people, and we explore.

We allow you the opportunity to customize your tour completely. Our tour guides are experts picking up what you will enjoy the most. Best of all is the fact that you can do the tour at your own pace!

Do You Pick Us Up?

Yes! We can pick you up at your hotel, vacation rental, or from your cruise ship. This is, of course, a complimentary pick-up.

How Long Is The Road To Hana Tour?

We have three different tours with different durations. You have the option to choose the tour that is perfect for you.

  • Our Halfway to Hana tour is 6 hours.
  • The Road to Hana tour is between 8 and 9 hours long.
  • The Circle Hana Tour or our Reverse Hana tour is between 9 and 10 hours.

What Should We Bring On A Tour?

It is always difficult to decide what to bring with you on your adventure, especially if you have never visited Maui before. We recommend that you bring everything you will need for a perfect beach day; this includes sunscreen, sunglasses, swimwear, hat, towels, and sandals.

However, this is only one side of Maui’s weather; you will also need a rain jacket, long sleeve shirt, and bug repellent. You never know when the weather makes a quick change.

We provide you with bottled ice water and a cooler. You can bring some more drinks and food with you. There is an opportunity for you to buy some snacks or lunch at different roadside stands, we will give you our recommendations. Cash is a must; the roadside stands do not have the internet to provide you with an option to pay using your card.
